Zion
Y’all heard enough about me from the mouth of others, now it’s time for y’all to get to know me personally. I’m Zion, but you may hear Lee refer to me as Z, which is my nickname I was given as a youngin’. If you ask me, I would like to say I’m a pretty handsome nigga. I stand six feet tall, weighing one hundred and eight pounds. I have a muscular build from years of little league basketball and football. I rock my hair in neatly twisted dreads and have the bad boy persona, but I’m a good dude for real. I was born and raised in the dirty south so I have that southern hospitality personality. Born in Jackson, Mississippi and raised in Atlanta, Georgia; I’m a certified down south breed. I’m the oldest of five and grew up in a single-parent household. There are three boys, including myself, and two girls. I’m the oldest, but my siblings and I are all legit nine months apart. It’s like as soon as my mom had one, she was knocked up with another. My pops walked away from my mom after my youngest sister was born. My mom never really gave us an excuse or reason for my father’s disappearing act, but if you ask me, no excuse was good enough, so I couldn’t care less. Momma did her damn thing raising five kids on her own with help from my grandma, so as soon as I got the feeling of the street life and fast money, I took it upon myself to get out there and get it. The motivation behind my hustle was to not have to sit back and watch my momma work her ass off day in and day out at some rich assholes company, making him even richer while they only pay her petty change. Since I hopped off the porch I haven’t turned back. I started off just nickel and dime hustling, but I’m proud to say I worked my way up the food chain and now a nigga eating good and my moms ain’t got to work for nobody unless it’s her choice to do so out of boredom. Now I’m not saying I’m a millionaire or some shit, but let’s just say I’m living comfortably.
I make trips to Ohio on a frequent basis to visit my grandma. My mom’s mother moved up here a couple of years back when she retired, and just recently got sick. She’s been in and out of the hospital for about six months. The doctors diagnosed her with Paget’s disease, which was a surprise to hear. With my grandma being from down south, she always seemed healthy or had a remedy to heal whatever the problem was. She started off complaining about bad pains in her bones and lower parts of her legs all the time, then she started having trouble walking and severe migraines that wouldn’t go away. After months of complaints and the symptoms getting worse, she finally decided to go see a doctor and we discovered her illness.
